It needs to be borne in mind that an exhibition hall is one of the most visually challenging environments. Every stand will be competing to catch the eye so it is important to bear this in mind when designing an exhibition stand. A lot of people make the mistake of cramming their stand full of products and signage so that it becomes very confusing for the passer by. You only have to look at how the large corporate companies approach stand design to see how it’s done. They all have very clear messages (or a large logo) that you can see from a long way away. They always look uncluttered and you can see the products together with their main selling points.

When designing a stand we always use the phrase ‘Less is more’. You’ve probably worked hard on your identity, let it shine through so people can recognise you.
